The working principle of an automatic meatball machine begins with an auger extruder feeding meat into the grinding mechanism. The forming system consists of three stages-a storage cylinder, a mixing cylinder, and an extrusion cylinder-designed to handle raw material storage, mixing, and final shaping, respectively. These cylinders are separated by partitions, the opening and closing of which are controlled by a motor-driven rack-and-pinion mechanism. Inside the extrusion cylinder, the meat paste is forced by an auger through a mold outlet to form the meatballs.
Filled-meatball machines utilize dual hoppers to separately manage the meat paste and the filling, injecting the filling into the center of the meatball via a nozzle. Some models employ variable-speed motors and pressure-regulating valves to independently adjust the feed pressures for the paste and filling, ensuring precise synchronization of their respective dispensing speeds. The feeding process combines primary auger-driven feeding with secondary quantitative delivery via a piston pump.
